285 berths in water and 6,500 square metres of boatyard on land: two numbers are enough to understand the potentials of Moniga Porto Nautica, which on the Brescia coast of Lake Garda offers a range of services to Cranchi owners and, of course, to all boaters.

Lake Garda is a true paradise for boaters. This has long been known by the thousands of German tourists who have always visited its shores, but it is now also being discovered by many Italians, especially from northern Italy, as they find it much easier to reach than seaside destinations.

As a result, boating on Lake Garda has always been flourishing, offering the possibility of starting up various boating-related activities, both servicing and trading in sailing and motor boats.

Moniga Porto Nautica: constantly growing since 2005

Laura Fadabini is certainly to be counted among the most careful and committed entrepreneurs on Lake Garda to embrace all the opportunities offered by the territory. As we have already mentioned in previous articles, the history of Moniga Porto Nautica is relatively recent: in fact, the company started in 2005 and has grown year after year.

“Thanks to a new extension, we now have 6,500 square metres of covered storage, part of which is dedicated to the yard for maintenance and repairs, as well as covered storage,” says Marketing Manager Stefania Fadabini. To these must be added, the newly created ‘Marina Food & Drinks’, a restaurant and bar open to everyone, but designed especially for our customers, who can thus find a cosy place to continue the day after the boat trip or to have breakfast in the morning before heading out to the lake”.

Clients from all over Europe

The customer base has evolved over the years. Stefania Fadabini again tells us that while Italians used to be in the majority, now a good 50% of the guests at Moniga Porto Nautica are foreigners, mainly Germans, who have always been in love with Lake Garda, but now also Dutch and Belgians, as well as various boaters from Eastern countries.

Cranchi E26 Classic, a 7.85 m powerboat, has two berths plus a bathroom and is available in many colours for both the hull and the cushions. Ha un motore a benzina di 280 o 350 cv per 38 nodi di velocità massima.

The prevalence of ‘motorists‘, on the other hand, is clear, as they cruise in the lower Garda area, leaving the windy north to the sailors. And among them there is a preference for day-boats with inboard engines, but also a significant proportion of foreigners, who live their whole holiday on a boat and therefore favour cabin cruisers for obvious reasons.

The customer at the centre of attention

‘Attention to service is one of our key features,’ explains Stefania Fadabini. We talked about ‘Marina Food & Drink’, but it is mainly in the shipyard where we focus our attention. We are certified installers for Garmin, Raymarine, Navionics, Fusion, Quick and Webasto and can guarantee prompt assistance to all our customers; we are also a certified ADAC service point, which is important for many German boaters.

The activity also makes sure that Cranchi’s boats are promoted: “For the past three years we have been organising our ‘Cranchi Yachts Boat Show Lago di Garda’: after the fairs in Cannes and Genoa it becomes an opportunity to meet contacts from the exhibitions, but also to engage new potential customers. In particular, for the Cranchi models we are able to exhibit, this year four from 26 to 46 feet, we always note the appreciation of visitors for the quality of the finishings and materials, as well as the very sophisticated design. Giving people the chance to see the boats closely and maybe even test them is always very helpful to drive interest.

Moniga Porto Nautica: with Cranchi since 2017

The Moniga facility is relatively young within the Cranchi dealer network, which also boasts decades-long partnerships. ‘It is true,’ Stefania Fadabini confirms, ‘the first approach took place in 2016 and became concrete the following year. A collaboration that has grown with us and with the full satisfaction of our customers, who have shown great appreciation for Cranchi’s latest models, especially the A46 Luxury Tender, which seems to have been designed also for our lake”.

Moniga Porto Nautica: contacts

A successful company is also made up of people: if Laura Fadabini and Roberto Vassalliare the management, the operational roles, a true reference point for all Cranchi boaters and customers, are the aforementioned Stefania Fadabini, marketing manager, Marco Fadabini, head of the shipyard, Fabio Vanni and Andra Paraschiv for the commercial and front office activities.
